Merry Yun, Haeundae (Busan) — Brunch, Pizza and Pasta Near Jangsan Station
Visited: October 2026 · First-hand review
We'd heard Merry Yun runs a 50%-off early-bird brunch set if you order before 11:30, so we figured we'd easily make it. We didn't — we sat down, took our time with the menu, and ended up ordering at 11:45. Fifteen minutes too late. So we switched to the regular menu instead. Here's what we got, and what we'd do differently next time.

1. The early-bird set we almost got

Merry Yun has a [Early Bird] Brunch + Americano set (18,500 KRW) — a full brunch plate plus a coffee at half price — but it's only orderable between 9:30 and 11:30. We got there close to the cutoff, spent a while going back and forth on the menu, and by the time we actually placed the order it was 11:45. The kiosk wouldn't let us add it anymore. If you want the deal, order the second you sit down — don't debate the whole menu first like we did.
2. The Merry Plate

We ordered the Merry Plate (16,700 KRW) anyway — it's the cafe's signature, named after the place itself. Cinnamon toast, a kale-and-corn salad with cherry tomatoes, a sausage, a hash brown, and soft scrambled egg, all on one plate, with maple syrup on the side for the toast. It's built as a proper breakfast-for-lunch plate rather than a light bite — worth it if you skipped breakfast to get there.
3. Salmon & shrimp open sandwich

The salmon & shrimp open sandwich (16,300 KRW, dine-in only) comes as two open-faced halves — one topped with smoked salmon and ricotta, the other with shrimp — both piled high with shaved red onion, arugula and dill, plus a lemon wedge on the side. The onion is sliced thin enough that it adds crunch without taking over the salmon underneath.
4. Cajun chicken cream risotto

The cajun chicken cream risotto (16,700 KRW) is listed as one of the cafe's signature items, and it's easy to see why — domestic chicken thigh, rubbed in cajun spice and seared dark, sitting on a mild cream risotto that mellows the spice out instead of fighting it. It's a filling, savory option if you'd rather skip the sweeter brunch plates entirely.
For reference, prices for everything we ordered, plus the early-bird set:
| Menu | Notes | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Merry Plate | dine-in only | ₩16,700 |
| Salmon & shrimp open sandwich | dine-in only | ₩16,300 |
| Cajun chicken cream risotto | domestic chicken thigh | ₩16,700 |
| [Early Bird] Brunch + Americano set | 9:30–11:30 only, coffee 50% off | ₩18,500 |
| Americano | – | ₩4,400 |
Prices from the restaurant's official Naver Place menu. Our Merry Plate, sandwich, risotto and one americano came to 54,100 KRW total.
5. Coffee, and the building it's in

We ended up paying full price for an americano (4,400 KRW) instead of the discounted one in the early-bird set — a small, self-inflicted reminder to order faster next time. The cafe itself sits on the ground floor of the Haeundae Dusan We've Centium building, a couple minutes from Jangsan Station, and it's closed on Sundays. There's paid parking right at the building — first 60 minutes free, then 3,000 KRW per hour, up to 15,000 KRW — or the public lot just behind the building gives a 1-hour discount voucher if you spend 30,000 KRW or more.
